Last night, liberals and progressives throughout America celebrated when Democrat Doug Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore in a special election to replace a Senate seat in Alabama.Besides the allegations against Moore of racism and inappropriate relationships with underage women, it was also a victory because it cut the Republicans majority in the senate from three to two.
